
We offer our services in two different flavors: Hourly Services, and Support Packages. Hourly Services are individual services which are generally billed after the service has been rendered, and are billed at an hourly rate, which varies depending on the nature of the project or task at hand. Support Packages are comprehensive packages of services designed to cover your entire company's technology infrastructure, and are paid in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. They are like an "insurance policy" for your technology infrastructure, because whenever something goes wrong—from needing help doing something in Microsoft Word, to recovering from a complete server crash—you're covered, and your bill will be the same (as long as your issue is covered under the scope of your Support Package). Hourly Services
The freedom to pay only for what you want
Hourly Services are for our clients who want the freedom of being able to call us when they have a specific problem or need—for instance, they need new workstations set up, their server is down, or they need help updating their web site—and don't want the security of a support package. All of these services are billed at an hourly rate, which depends on the type of task or project, and are generally paid once the project is completed (some larger projects are partially paid up-front).
Advantages
1. You pay only for the services you want when you want them, and we provide you with an estimate before every project is started.
2. You can budget for projects ahead of time, and then start them whenever you're ready.
Disdvantages
1. When you need help unexpectedly (a server goes down, a computer crashes, or you need a new employee set up on a computer), you may end up with a bill you hadn't budgeted for, and if a disaster occurs which requires large amounts of CTS service (for instance, a virus breaks out in your office and all of your machines need to be cleaned), you could end up with a significant bill, which could put a cramp in your budget.
2. We don't actively monitor your servers and workstations like we do with Service Packages, so your systems are more likely to have performance problems and crashes. Your computers will also be less likely to be up-to-date with Windows updates and virus/adware detection signatures, which means your systems are more vulnerable to hackers, trojans, viruses, and adware.
Support Packages
The peace-of-mind of always being covered
Support Packages are for our clients who want the peace-of-mind of knowing their entire technology infrastructure (servers, workstations, routers, virus signatures, etc.) is being actively monitored by experienced technology professionals, and that if something goes wrong, they won't end up with unbudgeted expenses (Support Packages include free almost-unlimited technical support for covered workstations, servers, and network equipment). It's like having an insurance policy for your technology infrastructure. You can even add-on Web Design or Software/Tools development to our Support Packages, if you have ongoing needs in those areas.
Advantages
1. You pay the same amount every month, regardless of how much you call us for support or services (for covered equipment), and are much less likely to receive any unbudgeted bills for technology expenses.
2. Since your support is pre-paid, you don't have to worry about "how much will it cost us?" before calling CTS for help-we're just like your own in-house helpdesk that's there for you whenever you need it.
3. We actively monitor every covered server, workstation, and network device, to ensure they are all online, and functioning at peak effectiveness. This includes regularly checking the performance of your workstations and servers, identifying performance bottlenecks, and recommending upgrades to eliminate them. This also includes checking your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs, to ensure they are functioning, and up-to-date with the latest signatures.
4. Since you pay up-front, you can receive substantial discounts for paying your contract dues in advance.
5. As a Support Package client, you receive a 10% discount on all CTS Hourly Services not included in your Service Package.
Disdvantages
1. You pay the same amount every month, even if you don't use all of the services included in your Service Package in a given month.
2. We require a minimum 6-month committment from our clients to use this service.
